Getting Started

Create an account

Sign up at app.sporeintel.com. Every message on Spore is end-to-end encrypted. During signup you’ll get a recovery code. Save it somewhere safe: it’s the only way back into your encrypted data if you forget your password.

Install the node

The node runs open-source models on your hardware and earns credits while your machine sits idle.

macOS (Homebrew):

brew install spore/tap/spore-node

Windows (Scoop):

scoop bucket add spore https://github.com/Chrisischris/scoop-bucket
scoop install spore-node

Link your node

Start the node and follow the prompt. It opens the app so you can approve the link to your account. Once linked, pick the models to serve from the Nodes page; downloads, serving, and benchmarks all happen there.

Credits

• Earn by processing inference requests from the network.
• Spend on models your own hardware can’t run.
• Personal mode is free: your own nodes answer the request.
